What do you do day to day?

I look to improve the practice, either by making changes to the way we do things today or planning for the future. Additionally, I work closely with clients who are looking to push their business to the next level.

What qualifications and experience do you have?

Alongside the accounts practice, I have interests in other businesses, which has resulted in me being experienced in what it takes to run a business. In addition to preparing accounts and tax calculations, I have spent my 21 years in the profession trying to perfect a style, with the aim of ensuring that not only is the service I offer professional, but also what I say is understandable and arguably most importantly useful.

What do you like about working here?

I like the fact that we are constantly looking to improve on the way we approach the task in hand. The mantra is we still can improve, however through hard work and teamwork we will get there. Mainly I am proud to lead the team we have, I feel very lucky to be surrounded by a group of talented, caring and genuine people.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, this being my wife, 5 children, 1 dog and 1 cat. Additionally, I enjoy watching Liverpool FC and attempting to play the guitar. I love travelling with my family and hunting down an establishment which caters for vegetarians/vegans, given that most of my household are the aforementioned. I enjoy binge watching shows, Apple TV, Netflix etc (suggestions are welcomed) with my wife, when our calendars allow. A couple of years ago we purchased a caravan, however I’m still in need of help from my father in law with that (Dave – IT Manager) so flying solo doesn’t happen very often.
